I found myself drawn to teaching following the completion of my BA Hons in History and Politics at the University of Liverpool John Moores. 

I have been fortunate enough to work in a variety of different educational capacities, ranging from curriculum lead of subjects such as PSHE and Citizenship, whole school lead for experiential learning and pastoral year lead. 

My passion is rooted in the holistic development of young people and equipping them with the skills and knowledge they will need to navigate a life in modern Britain. 

I joined Co op Academy Walkden in 2022 as the Assistant Principal for Personal Development and am excited by the prospect of supporting students to become independent, culturally aware, active citizens who make wholly positive contributions to the life of the school and society at large.
