I am passionate about education, having a degree in both Primary and Secondary Education. After graduating I taught Humanities as well as holding pastoral responsibilities including as a Head of Year in a range of contexts.

Since joining Walkden in 2017, I have held various roles and responsibilities including Behaviour Provision Manager, Staff Governor, Inclusion Manager and most recently Senior Pastoral Leader. My role in school has always been to promote positive behaviour and safety for the whole school community.

I have lead responsibilities for Safeguarding and Behaviour. I am passionate about improving children’s mental health, behaviour for learning and raising attainment through shaping positive citizens of the future.
