I am originally from London, but lived in Liverpool for 15 years where I studied Fine Art and Education at Liverpool University, then gained a Masters’ in Teaching and Learning. I completed my PGCE and became Head of Department early in my career. Since then I became Head of Faculty, Lead Practitioner, Director, then later Assistant Principal.

I am very passionate about Teaching and Learning as I believe everyone has the ability to reach their full potential. I enjoy reading about new developments in anything Teaching and Learning, which supports my role in education and keeps me up to date with new exciting developments. I have vast experience being a teacher trainer and enjoy supporting our new teachers entering the teaching profession. 

Having worked in schools in both Liverpool and Manchester, I am proud to be an Assistant Principal in the Senior Leadership Team at Co-op Academy Walkden in Salford and will ensure I support our students and staff in their development journey.
