Lunch information

We pride ourselves in serving the best meals possible to our students. We offer them the best value for money around. The average cost of a meal is £2.20.

Co-op Academy Walkden currently offers:

A meal deal option consisting of a sandwich and drink and either fresh fruit or biscuit. Meal choices are made half termly under the current pandemic.

Meals should be paid via the cashless system using Parentpay.

Parents and carers are asked to use Parent Pay to top up their child’s lunch account. Parent Pay also lets you monitor what your child is spending their money on. As well as the website, there is an option to top up at local Pay Point shops.

If your child is entitled to free school meals, their account will automatically topped up.

Free School Meals

FSM Voucher codes will be posted out every 2 weeks under the Edenred Voucher Scheme (£15 per week per student per week) for families who are eligible for free school meals.  The user guide gives information on how to claim those codes parents/carers have been issued with. A reminder that if your child is in school and has opted for lunch in school then no vouchers will be provided.

(Information on vouchers for over half term will follow)

If there are any issues please email freeschoolmealsparentscarers@edenred.com with your codes and query so this can be looked into.  If you need to contact the school regarding the vouchers not being received please email victoria.haye@coopacademies.co.uk
