We have a network of Alumni at Walkden who want to inspire the next generation.
Some of our students have gone on to do great things, and they want to use their experiences to help our students achieve their dreams too! If you are an alumni of Walkden and want to know more about the Alumni programme.

In an effort to raise the aspirations of our students at Co-op Academy Walkden we would like to promote the successes of our community. We are asking our parents/carers, family members and ex-pupils to volunteer to help us develop an Alumni.
This could be in your own spare time or as a part of your workplace volunteer initiative.
We are looking for a number of professionals who would be willing to be amongst our Alumni for us to reach out too sporadically. This may include some of the following requests, asking you to be a guest speaker at an event, engaging in face-to-face mock interview scenarios with our students, giving a talk on your profession or your higher education journey, providing a video clip talking about your career, offering work experience placements to our students, amongst other things.
